An Embodied Exploration of the Transformative & Creative Potential of Yoga
12-Month Immersive Yoga Study
200-Hour Teacher Training Program
with Becky Morrissey, eRYT500, LPCC-S, LICDC-CS, C-IAYT
program director, and EmbodiYoga Founder Lisa Clark, BMC, eRYT500
This program is designed for those who are eager to significantly deepen their understanding, experience and practice of Hatha yoga as well as share this knowledge with others through teaching. Already have a 200hr training? Ask about continuing studies and keep your pace in certification advancement!
Built on the foundation of functional alignment principles, embodied anatomy, classic tantric yoga philosophy and the Eight Limbs of Yoga, students will learn to actively support their practice from within, finding structure and integrity by opening deeper layers of kinesthetic awareness via the lens of Body Mind Centering®. While shedding new light on the inner workings of the asana, this approach offers an embodied exploration of the transformative and creative potential of the yoga form. Classes will be supported by yoga philosophy, as well as the practical application of somatics, anatomy and kinesiology to asana, pranayama, and meditation.
WHO SHOULD ENROLL:
This training is a fresh start for teachers who have a 200hr or 300hr training and wish to study yoga from a somatic/BMC lens; it is also an appropriate training for first time yoga training students seeking a teaching foundation for a deeply informed yoga practice approach for all types of students. Yoga Therapeutics will also be a focal point of this training.
THIS UNIQUE TRAINING WILL:
Support individual evolution by giving you the tools to grow your personal practice, the root of any teaching offering, and to live yoga in a creative, authentic and life nurturing way.
Encourage you to move beyond a formulaic approach to practicing asana in order to understand the more subtle and deeply transformative aspects.
Challenge you to perceive the essence of each posture from different body systems, developing and expanding consciousness into all tissues of the body.
Relate effectively to multiple students seeking yoga as a source of study and wellness.
Provide the clarity and insight of EmbodiYoga™ to find awareness, ease and fullness in your practice and teaching.
